For the last term I have been immersed in the music of Shostakovich (correction if you heard my newsreading yesterday where I said it was Dvorak), Jalbert (many bongos) and Dorothy Howell (I feel like I need to emphasise her gender). Last Sunday saw over 5 hours of rehearsals and today will see another 3 hours because tonight is the night of our first concert of the year!
